All cases filed after February 14, 2001, will be assigned a new JIS case number. Each circuit using the new JIS system is assigned a block of case numbers per circuit. The block of numbers for the 34th circuit is 752,000 to 760,999. Therefore, all new cases in JIS will have the following information in the case number format:
