24.08. Misdemeanors or Felonies - Continuance

For good cause shown, the court may continue a criminal proceeding to a fixed day, or to a date for trial to be set thereafter.

(Adopted June 13, 1979, eff. Jan. 1, 1980.)

Committee Note - 1979

This is the same as Rule 65.01 except that 'civil action' has been changed to 'criminal proceeding' and the provision concerning costs has been deleted.
