24.08. Misdemeanors or Felonies - Continuance
For good cause shown, the court may continue a criminal proceeding to a fixed day, or to a date for trial to be set thereafter.

except that 'civil action' has been changed to 'criminal proceeding' and the provision concerning costs has been deleted.
