21.01. Misdemeanors - Indictment or Information

All misdemeanors shall be prosecuted by indictment or information.

Committee Note - 1979

This is substantially the same as the first sentence of prior Rule 21.01 and the first sentence of prior Rule 21.02 except that it is limited to misdemeanors.
