The Family Court legislation that was enacted following the 1993 Legislative Session provides for jurisdiction over all divorce actions, legal separations, child custody, adoptions, juvenile proceedings, adult abuse and change of name. A large percentage of the Court’s cases are Family Court cases. Family Court is housed on the 9th Floor of the Civil Courts Building. The Family Court-Juvenile Division is located at 920 N.
