Judge Barbara Peebles
Biography: Born July 14, 1960, in St. Louis, MO. Educated at
Washington University St. Louis, MO, B.A., 1982 and American University Law School, Washington D.C., J.D., 1986.
Assistant City Counselor 1987-1993. Assistant Circuit Attorney 1993-1998. Drug Court Commissioner for the 22nd
Judicial Circuit 1998-2000. Appointed Associate Circuit Judge in September 2000. Retained in 2002.
Term expires December 31, 2010. Member: National Association of Women Judges; Mound City Bar Association;
Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis.
