Judge Bryan Hettenbach
Biography: Born February 10, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri. Graduate of University
of Missouri-Columbia, B.A., University of Michigan, M.A., and University of Missouri-Columbia
School of Law, J.D. Engaged in private practice of law for twenty-three years. Former
staff attorney for Missouri Supreme Court. Former news editor of Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
Former adjunct professor of legal studies at William Woods College. Recurring service as
guardian ad litem in family and juvenile law cases. Certified civil law and family court mediator.
Frequent speaker and contributor to continuing legal education programs and publications for the
Missouri Bar and other legal organizations. Member of Lawyers Association of St. Louis, Bar Association
of Metropolitan St. Louis and St. Louis County Bar Association. Appointed circuit judge April 2, 2008.
