Judge Mark Neill
Born
in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 21, 1949. Graduated from St. Louis U.
High in 1967. Received B.A. in history at St. Louis University in 1971. Member of Alpha
Sigma Nu, Phi Alpha Theta, and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Member of the Club
Football team. Received Juris Doctor from St. Louis University in 1974.
Married Catherine Kelly Cross on December 28, l973. They have four children:
Thomas, John, Kevin, and Katie. Served as Legal Advisor for St. Louis Metropolitan
Police Department from l975 until 1986. Engaged in private practice of law until from
1974 until 2002.
Member: Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; BSA Troop 520 Committee, Missouri
Bar, Illinois Bar, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, Lawyers
Association, various local and state judicial committees. Appointed
Circuit Judge February 15, 2002; retained November, 2004; term expires December 31, 2010.
