Judge Paula Perkins Bryant
Born in St. Louis,
Missouri. Graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, B.S. '81; St. Louis University School of
Law, J.D. '83. Adjunct professor for Webster University, St. Louis. Assistant Circuit Attorney,
1993-2004; where she was assigned to the Specialized Homicide Unit, later a Team Leader, recipient of
the Outstanding Trial Attorney award, 2004. Engaged in private practice in St. Louis, 1991-1993, Public
Defender from 1987-1991, staff attorney for the 22nd Judicial Circuit Court. Active with several bar
associations, a member of the Catholic Church, and is affiliated with other community and educational
organizations. Married and has two children. Appointed Associate Circuit Judge 2004 and retained in 2006.
