This section of Your Missouri Courts website is designed to assist members of the legal community. The Attorney Membership page provides links to renew your bar membership or pay your bar dues online, information and services such at attorney compliance requirements and membership status information, as well as membership services. The Ethics & Discipline section lists disciplinary actions the Supreme Court of Missouri has imposed against lawyers and provides links to pages about and complaint forms for the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, which handles ethical complaints against lawyers, and the Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline, which handles ethical complaints against judges and judicial commissioners. The Becoming a Lawyer section provides links to pages for the Board of Law Examiners, which handles applications from individuals who wish to become lawyers in Missouri, and for the Supreme Court's attorney enrollment office, which maintains the official roll of attorneys licensed in Missouri, collects attorney enrollment fees, issues bar cards and certificates of good standing, and handles certain applications from out-of-state lawyers who wish to be practice in Missouri on a limited basis only. The Finding a Lawyer page provides links to services outside the Judicial Branch that assist individuals in finding attorneys to represent them in both civil and criminal matters.
