22nd circuit judicial commission releases demographic, interviewee, meeting information for Stelzer associate circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis city


Pursuant to Rule 10.28(d), the 22nd circuit judicial commission releases the following information relating to applicants for the associate circuit judge vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Michael Stelzer to the circuit bench of the St. Louis city circuit court. There are 30 applicants: 15 women, nine minority, 19 presently employed in the private sector and 11 presently employed in the public sector. The applicants' mean age is 43.4.

Also pursuant to Rule 10.28(d), the commission announces it will interview all 30 applicants. The applicants are:

The commission will conduct interviews starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at the Missouri Court of Appeals, 815 Olive St., St. Louis, Missouri. The public is invited to attend and observe interviews. The commission will meet after interviews are completed on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 in the same location to select the three nominees from this applicant pool for the governor’s consideration.

The members of the Twenty-Second Judicial Circuit Commission are: Gary M. Gaertner Jr., chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District; Steven L. Groves; Michael Calvin; Stephen F. Doss; and June Bosley-Dabney-Gray.
