6.03. Election to Become Inactive

(a) Any lawyer who is not currently stricken from the roll of attorneys and who ceases to practice law in this state may notify the clerk of this Court that the lawyer has ceased to practice law and does not desire to pay annual enrollment fees. The lawyer shall be recorded as inactive on receipt of such notice.

(b) Any lawyer recorded as inactive shall pay annually to the clerk of this Court a fee of $100. The fee shall be paid as provided in Rule 6.01(a), and the provisions of Rule 6.01(g) shall not apply. At the time of paying the fee, the lawyer shall provide the clerk with a current mailing address.
