Each charge on a case is disposed with a charge disposition code. The case must also be disposed, but can only have one disposition code. When multiple charges exist on a case, the disposition of the case will be the

most recent date and the highest ranking disposition code

. For example, there are three (3) charges on a case. For Charge #1, the defendant pled guilty (DDGTP) on March 1, 2007 and charge #2 and Charge #3 were dismissed by the prosecuting attorney (DDST) on June 1, 2007. The disposition on the entire case will be DDGTP on June 1, 2007.
