Administrators access the Administration Page to search for users to update (see Searching/Modifying Users for additional information) or add new users. Selecting the “Add new user” button will open a blank User Account page.
Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) on the web page are required fields.
User ID: Enter the ID of the user to be created.
Password:
Enter the password of the user being created using the password construct. Passwords must consist of:
- A least 8 characters.
- At least one upper case alpha character.
- At least one numeric digit.
Users will be prompted every 90 days to change passwords.
Confirm Password: Re-enter password created.
Password Strength Meter: Color indicator bar which indicates the strength of the password created.
Require User to Change Password: Select as to prompt the new user automatically at initial sign on to change their password.
Agency: Select the agency to which the user is associated. Defaults to the agency for which the administrator has access. For instance, a judicial agency password administrator will have access to only “Judicial Department” in the Agency drop-down.
Start Date: Date access to MOJJIS began.
End Date: Date MOJIIS access ends. Date entered cannot be more than 5 years from the current date.
User Role: The access the user being set up will have. User roles are defined as follows:
1. Agency Administrator Access: Ability to create individual user IDs and passwords.
2. Password Administrator Access: Ability to unlock, reset, and change users passwords.
3. Inquiry User Access: Ability to search for juvenile data.
Lock: Used to lock a user from accessing MOJJIS.
Revoke: Used to revoke a user from accessing MOJJIS but maintain history of records searched.
User Profile:
Last Name: Last name of the user being granted access.
First Name: First Name of the user being granted access.
Phone: Phone number of the user being grants access.
E-Mail: E-Mail address of the user being granted access.
NOTE: Users have the ability to update their user profile data and password by selecting “User Profile” from the Menu after accessing MOJJIS.
Save: User profile will be saved. Child window will display indicating “User added successfully.” Select OK.
Return to User List: Return to the list of users searched, if applicable, or to the Administration page.
Reset: Clear all entered data from the form.
Error Messages: If there are any issues with the data entered, a child window indicating the specific issue will display. Please make the corrections as indicated before again selecting “Save.”
