In re:

Repeal of subdivision 7.01, entitled "Circuit Court Personnel System: Established," of Court Operating Rule 7, entitled "Circuit Court Personnel System," and in lieu thereof adoption of a new subdivision 7.01, entitled "Circuit Court Personnel System: Established."

ORDER

1.  It is ordered that subdivision 7.01 of Court Operating Rule 7 be and the same is hereby repealed and a new subdivision 7.01 adopted in lieu thereof to read as follows: 

COURT OPERATING RULE 7  CIRCUIT COURT PERSONNEL SYSTEM

COURT OPERATING RULE 7.01  Circuit Court Personnel System: Established

The circuit court personnel system is hereby established and shall apply to the employees of the circuit court whose positions are funded by the state of Missouri pursuant to sections 211.393, 476.083, 483.245, 485.010, or 487.060, RSMo.

The system shall be composed of the following designated parts and became effective July 1, 1981, unless otherwise provided herein:

7.01.A  Definitions.

Part A shall include a definition of the terms used within this Rule.

7.01.B Operating Procedures. 

Part B shall include guidelines for the allocation of staff that became effective September 30, 1980, uniform job classes, and the job classification plan that became effective July 1, 1981.

7.01.C Personnel Policies. 

Part C shall include a description of authorized benefits and leave policies not otherwise provided by statute.

7.01.D Compensation and Pay Plan. 

Part D shall include uniform salary ranges and steps within the ranges for each job class, the method by which salaries will be determined and additional provisions as may be necessary relating to the compensation of employees.

7.01.E Job Descriptions. 

Part E shall include the approved job descriptions of the circuit court personnel system. The job descriptions shall include uniform titles, an outline of the duties and responsibilities to be performed, and the desired qualifications for the position.

Parts A, B, C, D, and E are incorporated herein by reference as if set out in full. 

 
2.  The state courts administrator is directed to provide a copy of this order to each presiding circuit judge and such other persons as he deems appropriate.
