Missouri Electronic Filing System

Effective January 1, 2012, electronic records are viewable at the public access terminal at the court house. Case records in Cole County are available electronically for the above referenced case types beginning April 28, 2014. Contact the court for the availability of electronic records prior to this date.

Case Numbering

All cases filed after April 18, 2000, will be assigned a new JIS case number. Each circuit using the new JIS system is assigned a block of case numbers per circuit. The block of numbers for the 19th circuit is 323,000 to 328,999. Therefore, all new cases in JIS will have the following information in the case number format:

2- digit Year
Case Type CV- Civil, CR-Criminal, PR-Probate etc.
6-digit sequential case number in the range assigned to the circuit.

Traffic cases will be filed in the court using the traffic ticket case number.
