Traffic

Traffic tickets and infraction case information is available for all public cases pending as of June 5, 2006 and thereafter. The court had an automated system prior to June 5, 2006 and most of the cases filed since that date were converted from the previous system. Traffic judgments entered prior to June 5, 2006 are not included in Case.net. If you are looking for a judgment entered prior to June 5, 2006 you must review the judgment index at the Associate Clerks Office located at the Courts Building located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Missouri Electronic Filing System

Effective January 1, 2012, electronic records are viewable at the public access terminal at the court house. Case records in City of St Louis are available electronically for the above referenced case types beginning July 8. 2013. Contact the court for the availability of electronic records prior to this date.

Case Numbering

All Probate cases filed after May 31, 2000, all Criminal and Civil cases filed after June 5, 2006 will be assigned a new JIS case number. Each circuit using the new JIS system is assigned a block of case numbers per circuit. The block of numbers for the 22nd circuit is 500,000 to 599,999. Therefore, all new cases in JIS will have the following information in the case number format:

2- digit Year
Case Type CV- Civil, CR-Criminal, PR-Probate etc.
6-digit sequential case number in the range assigned to the circuit.
