PROBATE

Probate case information is available for all public cases that were converted from the previous automated system or filed on or after April 14, 2008. If you believe a judgment was entered prior to April 14, 2008 and it is not on Case.net, you may review the judgment index, or inquire at the Greene County Courthouse, Probate Division, in Springfield, Missouri.

CIRCUIT CIVIL, ASSOCIATE CIVIL AND DOMESTIC RELATIONS

Circuit civil, associate civil and domestic relations case information is available for all public cases that were converted from the previous automated system, or filed on or after April 14, 2008. Most judgments entered prior to April 14, 2008 are included in Case.Net. If you believe a judgment was entered prior to April 14, 2008 and it is not on Case.net, you may review the judgment index, or inquire at the Greene County Courthouse, Circuit Division, in Springfield, Missouri.

CIRCUIT and ASSOCIATE CRIMINAL

Criminal Traffic, Misdemeanor, Felony and DWI case information is available for all public cases that were converted from the previous automated system, or filed on or after April 14, 2008. Most judgments entered prior to April 14, 2008 are included in Case.Net. If you believe a judgment entered prior to April 14, 2008, and it is not on Case.net, you may review the judgment index, or inquire at the Greene County Courthouse, Circuit Division, in Springfield, Missouri.

TRAFFIC

Traffic tickets and infraction case information is available for all public cases that were converted from the previous automated system, or filed on or after April 14, 2008. Most judgments entered prior to April 14, 2008 are included in Case.Net. If you believe a judgment was entered prior to April 14, 2008 and it is not on Case.net, you may review the judgment index, or inquire at the Greene County Courthouse, Circuit Division, in Springfield, Missouri.

MISSOURI ELECTRONIC FILING SYSTEM

Effective January 1, 2012, electronic records are viewable at the public access terminal at the court house. Case records in Greene County are available electronically for the above referenced case types beginning April 1, 2013. Contact the court for the availability of electronic records prior to this date.

CASE NUMBERING

Civil, Associate Civil, Small Claims, Criminal, and Probate cases filed after April 14, 2008, will be assigned a new JIS case number. Traffic cases use the actual traffic ticket number. Therefore, all new cases filed in JIS after April 14, 2008, will have the following format:

2 – digit year
2 – digit location code
2 – character case type code (CV – Civil, CR – Criminal, PR – Probate, etc.)
5 – digit sequential case number

Each of the following case categories will start with case #00001 at the beginning of each calendar year.
