Case Information Screens
Once a case is found, different types of information can be viewed depending on the type and status of the case. Remember that only certain types of cases are available to the general public. Also, if a case was recently filed, certain types of information may be unknown since Case.net offers only real time data.
Case Header Tab
Once a case is found, the following information can be viewed on the Case Header page:
Case number, case description, court location, Judge/Commissioner Assigned (case pending) Judge/Commissioner at disposition (case disposed), case type, date filed, date of disposition and disposition type are available on this screen. The following fields will also display if updated in the Case Management System: County Change of Venue Received from and County Change of Venue Transferred to. For Appellate cases, the following additional fields will also display if updated in the Case Management System: Appellate Court Case Number, Originating Case Number and the Circuit Court Case Number.
Pay By Web - Service that allows public users to pay court costs and fees owed on a case within the Case Management System.

Parties and Attorneys Tab
Once a case is found, the case parties and attorneys can be viewed by clicking on the Parties and Attorneys tab. Attorneys released from the case do not appear. Litigants released from the case show an end date and end reason. Prosecutors and public defenders do not display on the Parties and Attorneys tab. The following web page opens:
The case number and case description display in the blue header bar.
Litigants: Identified on the left side of the screen with available address, and year of birth information. If a litigant is released or ended on a case, they will still appear with an end date and end reason. Confidential addresses do not display on Case.net.
Attorneys: An attorney associated to a case party displays to the right of the associated party. Available address, telephone and fax information display below the Attorney's name.

Docket Entries Tab
Once a case is found, the docket entries can be viewed by clicking on the Docket Entries tab. The following web page opens:
Displays the case number, case description, date of docket entry, docket entry description, filed by:, On Behalf of:, associated entries, associated entry text and scheduled events.
The entries list in descending order by date (most current date entry first) but the order can be changed to ascending using the Sort Date Entries check boxes.
The Display option defaults to ALL entries but can be changed to display Pending Motions Only, which lists the Motions on the case that have not been ruled upon yet.
Note: For Courts that are not yet using eFiling or for cases that were migrated from a previous case management system, the Pending Motions display option may not be accurate. Review the full list of docket entries to see if a specific motion has been ruled upon or contact the court.
Associated docket entries display indented below the docket entry with which they are associated. The text of the associated docket entry defaults to collapsed but selecting the + button will expand the associated text.
Effective January 1, 2012, Court Operating Rule 2 allows the viewing of judgment documents on certain public level civil, domestic and probate case types. The document displays in PDF format.

Charges, Judgments & Sentences Tab
Once a case is found, the charges can be viewed by clicking on the Charges, Judgments & Sentences tab. The charge page will open:
Charge/Judgment Block
Description: Displays the Charge Description, Charge Level, and corresponding State Statute. Date: Displays the date the violation occurred. Code: Displays the Charge Code. Disposition: Displays the disposition of the charge and the date it was entered. If the imposition of the sentence is suspended (SIS) then the disposition field will reflect that by displaying 'Suspended'.Sentence Block
Sentence or Status: Displays the description of the sentence. State mandated sentences include, incarceration (JAIL or Department of Correction) and/or fine. If a sentence has not been imposed, but an alternative provided, the Sentence Block border and the label displays Status and "Suspended Imposition of Sentence - (SIS)" displays.
Sentence Date or Suspended Date: Displays the date the sentence order was signed or the date the Suspended Imposition of Sentence (SIS) order was signed by the Court. If an SIS is ordered, the Sentence Date label displays 'Suspended Date.'
Start Date: Displays the date the sentence will begin. This field does not display for Suspended Imposition of Sentence (SIS).
Length: Displays the duration of the sentence. This field does not display for Suspended Imposition of Sentence (SIS).
Facility Name: Displays the description of a facility or program (for example, Probation, Shock Incarceration) that is ordered with the sentence or SIS.
Agency: Displays the name of the agency managing the facility or program.
Classification: Displays the level of management of the facility or program.
Outcome: Displays the result of the facility or program when it is ended.
Start Date: Displays the date that facility or program is to begin.
Due Date: Displays the date that the facility or program is scheduled to end.
End Date: Displays the actual date the facility or program ended.

Service Information Tab
Once a case is found, the service information (warrants, summons, etc.) can be viewed by clicking on the Service Information button at the bottom of the Case Information web page. The service document web page will open:
Displays the case number and case description. Warrants will not display until the Judge signs the warrant and the clerk enters a signed date in the Case Management System.
Issuance: Identifies who the service document was issued to, type of document issued, document ID, date issued, date due, bond amount and cash bond.
Return: Identifies the type of service on the return, who the document was served to, the address for the service and the date served. Documents that are returned not served (Non-Est) will not display the served to field.
Filings Due Tab
Choosing the Filings Due button returns all scheduled motions, pleadings, and other court documents due to the Court under State Statue, Supreme Court Rules, Local Court Rules, Judicial Order or local practice only if a court has initiated the milestones management program for the case. Most Probate Divisions use this functionality. The Filings Due results page will open:
Trial Court - Example
Overdue Item(s): Lists all items with a due date prior to the current date which have not been filed with the court.
Next Items(s) Due: List the first item due with a current or future due date.
Scheduled Hearings & Trials Tab
Choosing the Scheduled Hearings & Trials tab returns all future open events for the case. Events are sorted by date and time. The Scheduled Hearings & Trials results page will open:
For each scheduled event (hearing or trial), this page returns the case number and case description, day of the week, date, time, location of the event, address where the event will take place, number of days for which event is scheduled, setting number (if available), hearing type, text (if available), and judge assigned to the hearing.
Note: The event type CREV - Case Review will display, however, CRV2 through CRV6 will not display. CRV2 through CRV6 are intended for use as judge and/or clerk reminders. Non-case private events will not display on Case.net.

Civil Judgments Tab
Once a case is found, the judgments can be viewed by clicking on the Civil Judgments tab. The civil judgments page opens:
Displays the case number, circuit, case description, judgment date, judgment description, who the judgment is against, the amount of judgment if it is a monetary judgment, Judgment text (if entered) and the date of satisfaction. If the judgment is not satisfied, a message of "not yet on file" will appear in the in the Date of Satisfaction field.
Note: If the date of satisfaction field states "not yet on file", query the docket entries beginning with the judgment date to verify a satisfaction has not been filed.

Garnishments/Execution Tab
Once a case is selected, garnishments and executions can be viewed by clicking on the Garnishments/Execution button at the bottom of the Case Information web page. The garnishments/execution page will open:
Displays all garnishments and/or executions on the case with the most current garnishment or execution listed first.
Displays the case number, case description, execution/garnishment number and issue date, location of judgment, county directed to, debtor, garnishee, requestor, requested return date, interrogatories filed date, exemptions filed date, reason for hold, date put on hold, reason taken off hold, date taken off hold, reason released, release date, pay out date, total due, balance due and recoverable amount.
Receipt and payout information is only available on active garnishments and on inactive garnishments for 90 days after the requested return date.
Note: If no execution/garnishment data exists, the message, "No execution/garnishment information exists for this case." will display.
