Development of Show-Me Courts is guided by input from stakeholders at all levels to allow the governance
structure of the Missouri Court Automation Committee and its
subcommittees establish direction and priorities.
The steps below show how to submit requests for system enhancements or functionality changes, and how the request process works.
STEP 1 | STEP 2 | STEP 3 | |||||
Email the Missouri Court Automation Committee's Change Control Subcommittee (CCSC) at [email protected] with suggestions for system enhancements or functionality changes. When you send your change request, a coordinating team of OSCA staff will review and log it. You will receive a response stating your request has been received and is being processed. In some circumstances an immediate response can be provided, such as if a similar request has been made or possibly the requested modification is already in process or the functionality exists. The [email protected] email can be used to request modifications to systems like Show-Me Courts, Case.net, eFiling, Manage My Case, Plead and Pay, Pay By Web and Show-Me Jury. Please note other types of requests, such as changes to statewide forms, Cognos reports, and new docket codes and case types, should be submitted to the OSCA Help Desk. | The Case Management Oversight Team approves or denies all Show-Me Courts change requests. CCSC approves or denies all other system (e.g. Case.net, eFiling, etc.) change requests. Some requests require additional approval from the Missouri Court Automation Committee and State Judicial Records Committee. These committees meet on a quarterly basis. Depending on the nature of the request, the Supreme Court of Missouri may need to approve the change request modifications. Please know this process often takes several months due to the nature of when committees and focus groups can meet to determine if the enhancement should be completed or not. Also, there is a backlog of enhancement requests pending and requests typically are processed in the order they are received. | It's important to note, some enhancements are more difficult to complete than one might expect. Adding new features to an existing system (e.g. Show-Me Courts) takes a lot of thought and testing. Many times, a seemingly simple improvement or new feature will require a significant amount of work to ensure the enhancement functions as needed and did not have an adverse impact on other areas of the system(s). Some enhancements are included in the monthly deployment schedule where others are released to pilot courts. If the enhancement is deployed to pilot, the enhancement is in pilot for three months prior to being released statewide.
