Track This Case is a notification system provided through Missouri Case.net. After you sign up and respond to a system verification notice you will receive e-mail notification and text message (optional) when a docket entry is made or updated on a case. You also may choose to receive optional notices on scheduled events and scheduled payments due.
If a case becomes confidential, you may no longer receive notification. If you are tracking a case and attempt to track the case again, you will not receive a second verification e-mail. If you are already tracking a case with the phone number entered, you will not receive another verification text.
How to Use Track This Case
Header Tab
Under the "Case Header" tab is the “Track This Case” icon. Clicking the “Track This Case” link will bring the user to the “Track This Case” page.
The type of user determines how this page will display.
Public User (not logged in)
If you are a Public User (not logged in), you will need to enter a valid e-mail address and confirm the e-mail address. You also will have an option to receive text notifications. You will need to enter your phone number and choose one of the carriers listed. (Note: Only the providers/carriers listed are currently available for the text notification service. Other providers/carriers will be made available as they are confirmed to be compatible with Track This Case). You can choose additional notice options, including one or more of the following: notice 10 days prior and 2 days prior to scheduled court events, and/or notice 2 days prior to the due date of scheduled payments.
Enter the characters shown in the captcha box. To proceed, you will have to select one of the options, either “Track This Case” or “Tracking Report.”
With a valid e-mail address, captcha characters entered, and selected “Track This Case” option, the user will receive a verification message in red displaying “A verification e-mail is being sent to the address you provided. Please read and complete the appropriate steps to finish the verification process. If you are already tracking this case, you will not receive another verification e-mail.” If you have also requested to Track This Case by receiving text notifications you will receive a verification text sent to the cell phone number you provided. You will need to click the link in the verification text message to confirm the Track This Case by Text request. If you are already tracking this case with the phone number entered, you will not receive another verification text.
Note: Track This Case text messages will be sent from 'ttc@courts.mo.gov.' Please DO NOT REPLY to Track This Case text messages as replies will not be monitored.
IMPORTANT: Your Track This Case by E-mail request must be verified before your Track This Case by Text request can be activated
With a valid e-mail address, captcha character entered, and selected “Tracking Report” option, the user will receive a verification message in red displaying “An e-mail is being sent to the e-mail address provided below. Please review the e-mail for further information."
If any information is missing or invalid in the e-mail or "Confirm e-mail" field, the user will receive the appropriate error message displaying in red. If the text option is selected and information is missing or invalid in the phone or provider/carrier field, the user will receive the appropriate error message displaying in red. If the captcha is not entered correctly or nothing is entered at all, the user will receive an error message in red displaying “Captcha invalid.” or "Verification is required."
Public or Registered Users Logged In
With a valid e-mail address, captcha characters entered, and selected “Track This Case” option, the logged in public or registered user will receive a verification message in red displaying “You are now tracking this case.” If you have also requested to Track This Case by receiving text notifications you will receive a verification text sent to the cell phone number you provided. You will need to click the link in the verification text message to confirm the Track This Case by Text request. If you are already tracking this case with the phone number entered, you will not receive another verification text. Note: Track This Case text messages will be sent from 'ttc@courts.mo.gov.' Please DO NOT REPLY to Track This Case text messages as replies will not be monitored.
With a valid e-mail address, captcha characters entered, and selected “Tracking Report” option, the logged in public or registered user will receive a verification message in red displaying “An e-mail is being sent to the e-mail address provided below. If the e-mail address is missing or invalid, the logged in public user will receive an error message displaying “Your account is missing a valid e-mail address. You cannot continue until your account is corrected. Please contact the OSCA Help Desk by e-mail at OSCA.HELP.DESK@courts.mo.gov or by phone at (888) 541-4894."
If the e-mail address is invalid, the logged in registered user will display the message “The e-mail address is invalid, logon and access “My Account” to correct your e-mail address.”
If the text option is selected and information is missing or invalid in the phone or provider/carrier field, the user will receive the appropriate error message displaying in red.
If captcha is not entered correctly or nothing is entered at all, the public or registered user will receive an error message in red displaying “Captcha invalid.” or "Verification is required."
Verification E-mail (not logged in)
When the user selects the “Track This Case” button, the user will receive a verification e-mail including links to the following information:
- Track Case Number
- E-mail Address
- Stop Tracking
- Choose stop e-mail and text?
- Stop text only?
- OSCA help desk
When the user selects the “Tracking Report” button, the user will receive a verification e-mail including links to the following information:
- Track Case Numbers
- Stop Tracking

Verification E-mail (logged in)
When the user selects the "Track This Case" button, the user will receive a message in red "You are now tracking this case."When the user selects the "Tracking Report" button, the user will receive a verification e-mail including links to the following information:

Verification Text Message for All Users
If you have requested to Track This Case by receiving Text notifications, you will receive the following verification text message: You will receive a verification text sent to the cell phone number you provided. You will need to click the link in the verification text message to confirm the Track This Case by Text request. If you are already tracking this case with the phone number entered, you will not receive another verification text.
By selecting the Text Notification option, you will receive a separate text message for each docket entry made on the case you are tracking. Each time you receive a text message, you will be given an opportunity to stop receiving the text service. Note: Additional fees could be charged by your cellular service provider to receive these text messages.
Tracking Notice for All Users
This is the e-mail that will be sent to any user who is tracking a case. Notice will be triggered when a docket entry is added or updated or if a user is also tracking optional notice for scheduled events and/or scheduled payments. Changes will be gathered and one notification e-mail will be sent that evening with all changes/additions on that case that occurred that day, including any upcoming (2 day or 10 day) scheduled event notifications or (2 day) payment due date notifications, if selected.
A tracking e-mail notice will display the filing date and time, description, text, and the last activity date and time. The following information with links will appear:
- Track Case Number
- Stop Tracking This Case
- Stop e-mail and text?
- Stop text only?
- Stop Tracking ALL Cases
- Stop e-mail and text?
- Stop text only?

If a user is tracking a case and receiving text messages, any docket activities will generate a separate text message with the case number, docket entry made, and a link to Case.net. If the option of receiving notice for 2-day or 10-day event notice is selected, and an event is scheduled, the text message will include the case number, date and time of the event and a link to Case.net. Payment due text messages will include the case number, name of person, date of payment, plan number and the amount due and past due amount, if any.
You will receive a separate text message for each docket entry made on the case you are tracking. Each time you receive a text message, you will be given an opportunity to stop receiving the text service. Note: Additional fees could be charged by your cellular service provider to receive these text messages.
Tracking Report for All Users
This report will list all cases that have been tracked and verified; therefore only cases that are being tracked and have been verified can have tracking stopped. The case numbers will list in ascending case number order.
To stop tracking a case, the user will need to select the Stop Tracking link and a new page/window will display, “Do you want to stop tracking case number (display the case #)?” Choose the option "Stop e-mail and text?" or "Stop text only?" YES or NO options display for the user to select.
If YES is selected, and option "Stop e-mail and text?," the user will receive a message in red displaying “You are no longer tracking this case.” If YES is selected, and option "Stop text only?," the user will receive a message in red displaying "You are no longer tracking this case by text."
If NO is selected, the user will be redirected to the Case.net home page.
To stop tracking all cases, the user will need to select “Stop Tracking ALL Cases" link and a new page/window will display, "Do you want to stop tracking ALL cases?" Choose option "Stop e-mail and text?" or "Stop text only?" YES or NO options display for the user to select.
If YES is selected, and option "Stop e-mail and text?," the user will receive the message “You are no longer tracking any cases.” If YES is selected, and option "Stop text only?," the user will receive the message “You are no longer tracking any cases by text.”
If NO is selected, the user will be redirected to the Case.net home page.
