13th Judicial Circuit of MissouriDivision 3

After serving for 6 years as the Division XI Associate Circuit Judge, Judge Stephanie Morrell was elected in November of 2024 as the Division 3 Circuit Judge for the 13th Circuit. Judge Morrell handles Criminal and Civil matters and is also the Probate Judge. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas.

Prior to taking the bench, Judge Morrell was an Assistant Prosecutor for Boone County, an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri, the City of Sturgeon Prosecutor, and an adjunct professor for Columbia College.
