13th Judicial Circuit of Missouri

Judge Gonzalez was elected to the court in 2018. Division IX handles general civil, criminal and juvenile dockets. Judge Gonzalez is a graduate of the Saint Louis University, School of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University of Wisconsin.

Prior to election to the court Judge Gonzalez served as the first assistant prosecuting attorney for the Boone County Prosecutor's Office. Earlier in her career she was the Director of the Child Protection Clinic and a professor at the MU School of Law where she also was the assistant dean for admissions, career development and student services; was an assistant professor at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri; served as the court services coordinator for a substance abuse awareness program for the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office in Florida; and was an attorney in the Missouri Public Defender's Office.

Judge Gonzalez is married to Tony Gonzalez and they have one wonderful son.
