Paying Court Costs     

All court costs are paid in the Circuit Clerk’s office.

Boone County - Payments are to be made by cash, cashier’s check, business check, money order, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express only) or debit card. All credit/debit card transactions will be processed as credit cards and will be assessed a convenience fee of:  

• Payments up to $50.00 will be charged a $2.00 convenience fee; and
• payments $50.01 and greater will be charged a convenience fee of 4% of the total payment.

Family Court Fee

Pursuant to Section 488.2300 RSMo., a $30.00 fee will be assessed on cases that come under the jurisdiction of the court.  As disposition may be made at the time of the intake conference, you should be prepared to make payment at that time.  Payments are to be made by cash (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY), cashier’s check, business check, money order, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express only) or debit card.  All credit/debit card transactions will be processed as credit cards and will be assessed a convenience fee of:   Payments up to $50.00 will be charged a $2.00 convenience fee; and payments $50.01 and greater will be charged a convenience fee of 4% of the total payment.  Checks should be made to the order of:  Family Services and Justice Fund. Restitution

The Juvenile Division is committed to ensuring that victims who have suffered financial loss as a result of a crime committed by a juvenile offender receive restitution for their loss. This furthers the court's philosophy of holding juvenile offenders accountable for their actions.

Drug Screenings

Juveniles under the jurisdiction of Juvenile Court are subject to drug tests.

A drug test cost $4.00 and payments are to be made by cash (EXACT AMOUNT ONLY), cashier's check, business check, money order, credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover or American Express only) or debit card. All credit/debit card transactions will be processed as credit cards and will be assessed a convenience fee of: Payments up to $50.00 will be charged a $2.00 convenience fee; and payments $50.01 and greater will be charged a convenience fee of 4% of the total payment.
