How do I report an incident at the courthouse?

To report and incident at the Boone County Courthouse, please call (573) 886-4079. In Callaway County please call (573) 642-0781. In an emergency please call 911.

Are concealed weapons permitted in the courthouse for bearers of a Conceal Carry Permit?

Concealed weapons are not permitted within the Boone or Callaway courthouses unless you are a licensed peace officer with the State of Missouri with appropriate identification.

I am a law enforcement officer appearing on personal business at the courthouse. Am I permitted to carry my firearm during this time?

Law enforcement personnel appearing at the courthouse for personal business are not permitted to carry a weapon and are required to pass thru the metal detector when entering the Boone County Courthouse.

In Callaway County, officers are ask to secure their weapons in the Court Marshal’s Office or in their vehicle prior to entering the courthouse.

Are cameras and/or audio recorders allowed in the courthouse?

Cameras and audio recorders are not permitted in the courthouse and will be confiscated upon entering the building. Owners will be given a card. When they leave they may pick up the item.

Are cell phones permitted in the courthouse?

Effective Monday, October 24th, 2016 cell phones are not allowed in the Boone County Courthouse, and not allowed in the Callaway Courty Courthouse courtrooms.

Where can I get a copy of my Criminal History?

Criminal histories for individuals may be obtained by contacting the Missouri State Highway Patrol at (573) 751-1000.

Can I take care of a Columbia Municipal Ticket at the courthouse?

Columbia Municipal tickets must be taken care of at the Columbia Municipal Courthouse located at 600 East Broadway.

Can I take care of a Fulton Municipal Ticket at the courthouse?

Fulton Municipal tickets are payable at the City of Fulton Offices located at 10 East 4th Street.

What are the business hours of the Boone County and Callaway County Courthouses?

Both courthouses are opened Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Court Marshal's Office has a lost and found are and recovers items that have been left at the courthouse. Contact the Marshal's Office at (573) 886-4079 in Boone County, or (573) 642-0781 in Callaway County and provide a detailed description of the item you are missing.

Are tours available of the courthouse for the public?

Tours are generally given to organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, etc. Requests for tours must be made through the Court Administrator's office prior to the tour.

The Boone County Court Marshal's will take fingerprints for Probate Court. To schedule your fingerprints, please call (573) 886-4075. The Callaway County Sheriff's Office handles fingerprints for Callaway County Probate cases.
