The Missouri Division of Probation and Parole supervises offenders who already have been granted probation or parole.

But it is the Missouri Parole Board that is responsible for determining whether to grant an offender parole or conditional release.

Division of Probation & Parole

The Missouri Department of Corrections' Division of Probation and Parole helps offenders succeed while under supervision in the community. From conducting risk assessments to managing community facilities and maintaining individualized contact, the division’s goal is to equip offenders with the skills and resources they need to comply with their conditions of supervision and reduce their risk of reoffending in the future.
