Sentencing Subcommittee
The Sentencing Subcommittee identifies if there is an issue with sentencing disparities and if so, how should they be addressed; identifies and reviews existing data related to sentencing trends; reviews case data to determine if there are disparities in sentencing patterns; identifies potential collateral consequences; identifies training needs for appropriate entities; and determines if changes are needed to sentencing practices, and if necessary, statutes and rules.
