The Jury Supervisor manages and coordinates the selection of jury pools and enters information in the state wide Jury Management System based on state laws and court policies. The Jury Supervisor performs administrative functions and coordinates activities related to selection of jury panels, supervision of juries in service and maintenance of records relating to juries and jury service. This position serves at the pleasure of the Board of Jury Commissioners under the supervision of the Court Administrator and is responsible for:

• creating master list for each term/quarter and mailing qualifying Questionnaires,
• processing those questionnaires upon return determining those disqualified by statute and excusing those for hardship and processing all in the Juror Management System,
• drawing weekly pools, mailing summons and following up as appropriate for those who fail to return the Questionnaire or who fail to respond to the Summons,
• responding to inquiries and concerns from prospective jurors and jurors regarding their service,
• preparing jury lists and seating charts for jury trial as well as maintaining attendance records and processing payment for service,
• preparing PDFs containing juror questionnaires for attorneys in jury trials, and
• maintaining statistical data and reporting as directed.
