There is currently a phone scam in our area claiming warrants have been issued for missed jury service. Law enforcement and court staff will NEVER call you to request money to settle a warrant. Law enforcement and court staff will NEVER call you asking for your social security number or other personal information. These scammers are using names of local judges and sheriff personnel in order to steal from people. If you receive one of these calls, please report it immediately to your local sheriff's office.
Jury Supervisor
The Jury Supervisor manages and coordinates the selection of jury pools and enters information in the state wide Jury Management System based on state laws and court policies. The Jury Supervisor performs administrative functions and coordinates activities related to selection of jury panels, supervision of juries in service and maintenance of records relating to juries and jury service. This position serves at the pleasure of the Board of Jury Commissioners under the supervision of the Court Administrator and is responsible for:
- creating master list for each term/quarter and mailing qualifying Questionnaires,
- processing those questionnaires upon return determining those disqualified by statute and excusing those for hardship and processing all in the Juror Management System,
- drawing weekly pools, mailing summons and following up as appropriate for those who fail to return the Questionnaire or who fail to respond to the Summons,
- responding to inquiries and concerns from prospective jurors and jurors regarding their service,
- preparing jury lists and seating charts for jury trial as well as maintaining attendance records and processing payment for service,
- preparing PDFs containing juror questionnaires for attorneys in jury trials, and
- maintaining statistical data and reporting as directed.

Locations

Boone County Courthouse
Metered parking is available on the streets surrounding the courthouse. There is also a parking garage located in front of the courthouse at the intersection of 8th and Walnut. The parking lots near the building are limited for use by properly tagged vehicles only. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owner's expense. Jurors please see parking information under Jury FAQs.
