In re:
Adoption of a new Regulation 18.01(g), entitled "COVID-19 Extension of Reporting Year," of subdivision 18.01, entitled "Definitions;" and adoption of a new Regulation 18.06(e), entitled "COVID-19 Extension of Reporting Deadline," of subdivision 18.06, entitled "Reporting Requirements – Sanctions – Review," of Rule 18, entitled "Municipal Judge – Continuing Education Requirements and Nonlawyer Certification."
ORDER
1. It is ordered that effective April 6, 2020, adoption of a new Regulation 18.01(g) of subdivision 18.01 and adoption of a new Regulation 18.06(e) of subdivision 18.06 of Rule 18 be and the same are hereby adopted to read as follows:

(g) COVID-19 Extension of Reporting Year.
As a result of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the reporting year for 2019-2020 will be for the 15 months between July 1, 2019, and September 30, 2020. Any extra credit hours earned during the 2019-2020 reporting year may be carried over as prescribed in Regulation 18.06(d).

(e) COVID-19 Extension of Reporting Deadline.
As a result of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, the reporting deadline for the 2019-2020 reporting year for non-lawyer municipal judges is extended until October 31, 2020. Every non-lawyer municipal judge failing to meet the Rule 18 continuing education requirements shall be notified by mail addressed to the judge's last known address no later than December 31, 2020, and shall be subject to the procedures outlined in Rule 18.06(b) thereafter.
2. It is ordered that notice of this order be published in the Journal of The Missouri Bar.
3. It is ordered that this order be published in the South Western Reporter.
