ST. LOUIS – Pursuant to Rule 10.28(d), the 22nd Circuit Judicial Commission releases the following information relating to applicants for the associate circuit judge vacancy created by the appointment of Judge Michael Stelzer as circuit judge in St. Louis:
There are 30 applicants: 15 women, nine minority, 19 presently employed in the private sector and 11 presently employed in the public sector. The applicants' mean age is 43.4.
Also pursuant to Rule 10.28(d), the commission announces it will interview all 30 applicants:

The commission will conduct interviews starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the Missouri Court of Appeals, 815 Olive Street, St. Louis, Missouri. The public is invited to attend and observe interviews. The commission will meet after interviews are completed on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in the same location to select the three nominees from this applicant pool for the governor’s consideration.
The members of the Twenty-Second Circuit Judicial Commission are: Gary M. Gaertner Jr., chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District; Steven L. Groves; Michael Calvin; Stephen F. Doss; and June Bosley-Dabney-Gray.
