Court of Appeals, Eastern District, prepares for move to Old Post Office

The Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, will close at 5 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2006 in the Wainwright State Office Building and will re-open for business at its new location at the Old Post Office at 8:30 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2006.  The Court’s new address will be: One Post Office Square, 815 Olive Street, Room 304, St. Louis, Missouri 63101.  Telephone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail addresses will remain unchanged.

Telephone and fax service to the Court will be subject to interruption on the afternoon of Friday, January 27, 2006, and the morning of Monday, January 30, 2006.  You probably should avoid faxing filings to the Court during this time.  The Court’s Clayton facility will be accepting regular filings, but its phone and fax service also will be subject to interruption Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

The following map indicates both the Court’s present Wainwright location and the new location at the Old Post Office.  Currently, access to the Old Post Office is through the 8th Street Entrance.  The entrance on 9th Street may be opened around February 1, 2006.
