21st circuit commission releases demographic, interviewee, meeting information for Bresnahan circuit judge vacancy in St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS – Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 10.28(d), the Twenty-First Circuit Judicial Commission releases the following information relating to applicants for the vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge Richard Bresnahan:  29 applicants, 15 women, 14 men, four minority, 25 non-minorities, 16 presently employed in the private sector and 13 presently employed in the public sector. The applicants' mean age is 52.

Also pursuant to Rule 10.28(d), the commission announces it will interview all 29 applicants. The applicants are:

The commission will meet beginning at 8:30 a.m. September 30 and October 1, 2015 at the St. Louis County Council Chambers Conference Room, located at 41 South Central, first floor, Clayton, Missouri, to conduct public interviews to select three nominees from this applicant pool for the governor's consideration. The commission will contact applicants to notify them of the time and dates of their interviews. The public is invited to attend and observe the interviews.

The members of the Twenty-First Circuit Judicial Commission are: Lisa Van Amburg, chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District, Richard Wuestling IV, Matthew J. Rossiter, Rev. Anthony Witherspoon and Christy Bertelson.
