In re: Electronic Filings in the Supreme Court
 
1.  It is ordered that effective September 1, 2011, Local Rule No. 1 for this Court is adopted to read as follows:
 

Pursuant to Court Operating Rule 27.01, the Missouri Court Automation Committee has determined that effective September 1, 2011, the following materials shall be filed electronically in the Supreme Court of Missouri:
 
   

CASE TYPE	NEW FILINGS/PENDING CASES
Writs	New filings and additions to pending cases for all public cases
Applications for transfer	New filings and additions to pending cases for all public cases
Appeals	New filings and additions to pending cases for all public cases
All cases where the chief disciplinary counsel is a party	New filings and additions to pending cases for all public cases


Electronic filings shall be made as provided in Rule 103 and Court Operating Rule 27, copies of which can be accessed at: https://www.courts.mo.gov/efilingrules.  Under such rules, self-represented parties are not able to file electronically.
 
Documents filed in confidential cases shall be transmitted by electronic mail to the clerk’s office until further order of Court.  Attorneys shall contact the clerk’s office for the electronic mail address.

2.  It is ordered that notice of this order be published in the Journal of The Missouri Bar.
 
3.  It is ordered that this order be published in the South Western Reporter.
