In re:

Repeal of subdivision (b) of subdivision 13.01, entitled "Activities," of Rule 13, entitled "Legal Assistance by Law Students," and in lieu thereof adoption of a new subdivision (b) of subdivision 13.01, entitled "Activities."


1.  It is ordered that effective January 1, 2006, subdivision 13.01(b) of Rule 13 be and the same is hereby repealed and a new subdivision 13.01(b) adopted in lieu thereof to read as follows:

13.01  ACTIVITIES

(b) With the written approval of the supervising lawyer, an eligible law student also may appear in any matter:


(1) On behalf of the State; or
(2) On behalf of a county or municipality for purposes of prosecuting a municipal ordinance violation.

2.  It is ordered that notice of this order be published in the Journal of The Missouri Bar.

3.  It is ordered that this order be published in the South Western Reporter.
