ORDER
1. It is ordered that effective January 1, 2002, the Regulations of the Board of Law Examiners to subdivision 8.04 of Supreme Court Rule 8 are hereby repealed and new Regulations of the Board of Law Examiners approved in lieu thereof to read as follows:
8.04 REGISTRATION OF LAW STUDENTS
* * *
Regulations of Board of Law Examiners
1. Students who enter law school during a summer session that begins prior to June 15 shall have until the following June 15 to timely file an application for law student registration.
2. Application forms for law student registration may be obtained by request to the clerk of the Supreme Court, Post Office Box 150, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.
3. Any applicant for law student registration after the time for registration has expired under this Rule 8.04 may apply to the board in writing for permission to file a late application by written request to the secretary of the board specifically stating the grounds. If the board finds that a good and sufficient cause exists for failure to file a timely application, the board may waive the requirement of this Rule 8.04 and grant late filing. However, waiver of this Rule 8.04 does not constitute a waiver of the payment of required late fees. The necessary late fees shall accompany all applications for waiver. All applications for waiver should be mailed to the clerk of the Supreme Court, Post Office Box 150, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.
4. The board may condition law student registration as provided in Rule 8.11.
3. It is ordered that this order be published in the South Western Reporter.
