Note: By order dated December 5, 2017, the Court reinstated Renkemeyer's law license.

 

                            

ORDER

 

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Troy D. Renkemeyer’s license to practice law was suspended by the Supreme Court of Kansas pursuant to the opinion of that Court reported at 359 P.3d 77 (2015), entitled In the Matter of Troy D. Renkemeyer, Respondent.
 
Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated the Kansas Rules of Professional Conduct and said conduct is a violation of Rule 4-8.4(c) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and
 
On April 26, 2016, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent filed a response to the same;
 
The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
 
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Troy D. Renkemeyer, is suspended from the practice of law in this State and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of six months from the date of this order.
 
It is further ordered that Troy D. Renkemeyer, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
 
Costs taxed to Respondent.
