In re: Alvin R. Lundgren, MBE No. 40238
ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Alvin R. Lundgren, was disbarred from the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Utah pursuant to the July 21, 2015, opinion of that Court in Case No. 20130739, 355 P. 3d 984 (2015), entitled In the Matter of the Discipline of Alvin R. Lundgren, Appellant, affirming the order of disbarment issued by the Second Judicial District Court in and for Morgan County, State of Utah. Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated the Utah Rules of Professional Conduct and said conduct is a violation of Rule 4-1.15(a) and 4-1.15(d) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and
On April 6, 2016, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent did not file a response to the same although correspondence was received;
This Court issued an order granting Respondent’s request for additional time to file a response to the show cause order but no response was received;
The Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Alvin R. Lundgren, is hereby disbarred, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that his name is stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.
It is further ordered that Alvin R. Lundgren comply in all respects with 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
