ORDER
WHEREAS, the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed a motion for final discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21 (e) advising this Court that Respondent was found guilty of four felonies in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1505, 18 U.S.C. §1001(a)(1), and 18 U.S.C. §1001(a)(2), in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, in Case No.05-370 (PLF), entitled United States of America, Plaintiff, v. David Hossein Safavian, Defendant, and said convictions are now final;
A show cause order was issued to Respondent on November 3, 2016, and Respondent filed a response to the same.
The Court finds that Respondent is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that the said David H. Safavian, is hereby disbarred, that his right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that his name is stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.
It is further ordered that David H. Safavian comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
