In re: Mark J. Schultz, MBE No. 35066
ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for interim suspension informing the Court that Respondent, Mark J. Schultz, pleaded guilty to violating 18 U.S.C. § 371 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri in case no. 17-00045-01-CR-W-BP entitled United States of America, Plaintiff, v. Mark J. Schultz, Respondent, and the Court having considered the said information; and
An order to show cause why Respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(b) was issued by this Court on March 29, 2017, and Respondent filed a response to the same;
It is ordered by the Court that Respondent, Mark J. Schultz, be and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such conviction or misconduct that resulted in said conviction.
It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise the Court when disposition of any appeal shall become final.
It is further ordered that Mark J. Schultz comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
