ORDER

WHEREAS, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed an information and motion for interim suspension informing the Court that Respondent, Timothy J. Muir, was found guilty of 14 felonies on January 5, 2018, in United States of America, Plaintiff, v. Timothy Muir, Defendant, in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York Case No. 1: S1 16 CR 00091-002, and the Court having considered the said information; and

An order to show cause why Respondent should not be suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 5.21(b) was issued by this Court and Respondent failed to respond to the same;

It is ordered that Respondent, Timothy J. Muir, be and he is hereby suspended from the practice of law pending the final disposition of any disciplinary proceeding based upon such conviction or misconduct that resulted in said conviction.

It is further ordered that Respondent immediately advise this Court when disposition of any appeal shall become final.

It is further ordered that Respondent, Timothy J. Muir, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order

Costs taxed to Respondent.
