In re: Kenneth J. Geniuk, MBE # 60295
ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its finding, after investigation, that Respondent, Kenneth J. Geniuk, was disbarred from the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Kansas pursuant to the opinion of that court issued in case number 118,226, entitled In the Matter of Kenneth J. Geniuk, Respondent, issued on February 23, 2018;
A show cause order was issued on May 18, 2018, and Respondent failed to respond to the same;
Said discipline was the result of conduct that is a violation of Rules 4-5.5(c)(2), 4-7.1(a), and 4-8.4(d) of the Rules of Professional Conduct; and
This Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined;
Respondent is currently suspended from the practice of law pursuant to the order of this Court issued on June 28, 2016, in SC95726, In re: Kenneth J. Geniuk. However, Respondent is currently eligible to apply for reinstatement pursuant to that order.
Now, therefore, it is ordered by this Court that the motion for discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Kenneth J. Geniuk, is suspended indefinitely from the practice of law in this state and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of two years from the date of this order.
It is further ordered that Kenneth J. Geniuk, comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
