In re: William Asa Hutchinson III, MBE # 60278
Note: By order dated December 22, 2020, the Court terminated probation for William Asa Hutchinson III.
Now at this day, the Court being sufficiently advised of and concerning the premises and having considered the information and motion for final order of discipline filed herein;
The Court having issued a show cause order on September 21, 2018, and Respondent filed a response to the same;
The Court finds that Respondent, William Asa Hutchinson III, violated Rule 4-8.4(b) of the Rules of Professional Conduct as a result of pleading guilty to a felony in Baldwin County Alabama Circuit Court case number 05-CC-2016-1285.00 and should be disciplined.
Upon consideration of these findings, previous decisions of this Court, ABA Standards for Imposing Lawyer Discipline, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the Court suspends Respondent’s license indefinitely. No petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of six months from the date of this order. Said suspension is stayed and Respondent is placed on probation for a period of two years form the date of this order. The term and conditions of probation are attached to this order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
