ORDER
The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for reciprocal discipline pursuant to Rule 5.20 advising this Court of its findings, after investigation, that Respondent, Babette P. Salus’ license to practice law was suspended by the State of Illinois Supreme Court in Case No. M.R. 029366 entitled In re: Babette Pauline Salus.
Said discipline was the result of conduct that violated the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct and said conduct is a violation of Rules 4-1.4(a)(1), 4-1.4(a)(2), 4-1.15(a), 4-1.15(c), 4-1.16(d), 4-8.1(c), and 4-8.4(c) of the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct; and
On November 19, 2018, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent, and Respondent did not file a response to the same;
This Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined.
Now, therefore, it is ordered by this Court that the motion for reciprocal discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Babette P. Salus, is suspended from the practice of law in this State and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of one year from the date of this order.
It is further ordered that Babette P. Salus comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
