Notes: Mr. Loveless' probation was terminated by Court order dated July 13, 2021.
WHEREAS, the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel has filed a motion for final discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(e) advising this Court that Respondent’s convictions for the Class A misdemeanor of resisting arrest in the Circuit Court of Stone County in State v. Loveless, Case No. 18SN-CR00710 and the Class B misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated in the Circuit Court of Franklin County in State v. Loveless, Case No. 17AB-CR01284, are now final;
The Court issued a show cause order to Respondent and Respondent filed a response to the same;
The Court finds that Respondent is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined;
Now, therefore, it is ordered by the Court that John B. Loveless is hereby suspended from the practice of law in the State of Missouri. The suspension is stayed and Respondent is placed on probation for two years from the date of this order in accordance with Rule 5.225. The term and conditions of probation are those filed herein on April 30, 2019. Should probation be revoked and the suspension take effect, no petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of two years from the date the suspension becomes effective.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
