In re: Sherri Lynne Edwards, MBE # 48673

ORDER

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information advising this Court of its findings, after investigation, that there is probable cause to believe Respondent, Sherri Lynne Edwards, is guilty of professional misconduct; and

The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed with said information, pursuant to Rule 5.13, a notice of default, notifying this Court that Respondent, Sherri Lynne Edwards, failed to timely file an answer or other response within the time required although Respondent was properly served;

Therefore, pursuant to Rule 5.13, Respondent is in default.

Further, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed a recommendation for discipline and suggestions in support thereof; and

Respondent having failed to respond to the same; and

It appearing Respondent is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined due to violations of Rules 4-1.3, 4-1.4, 4-1.16(d), and 4-8.1(c) of the Rules of Professional Conduct;

Now, therefore, it is ordered by this Court that Respondent, Sherri Lynne Edwards, is hereby disbarred, that her right and license to practice law in the State of Missouri is canceled and that her name be stricken from the roll of attorneys in this State.

It is further ordered that Sherri Lynne Edwards comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
