The Chief Disciplinary Counsel having filed an information and motion for final discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(e) advising this Court that Respondent pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated and one misdemeanor count of exceeding the speed limit in State of Missouri, Plaintiff v. Terry Lee Garner, Defendant, in Hickory County Circuit Court Case No. 18PO-CR00519-02;

On August 9, 2019, this Court issued a show cause order to Respondent, and Respondent filed a response to the same;

This Court finds that Respondent has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined.

Now, therefore, it is ordered by this Court that the motion for final discipline is sustained and that Respondent, Terry Lee Garner, is suspended from the practice of law in this state and that no application for reinstatement shall be entertained by this Court for a period of six months from the date of this order.

It is further ordered that Terry Lee Garner comply in all respects with Rule 5.27 – Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
