In re: Patrick Michael Davis, MBE # 34811
Note: The Court terminated Mr. Davis' probation by order dated July 9, 2021.
Now at this day, this Court being sufficiently advised of and concerning the premises and having considered the statement of acceptance of the disciplinary hearing panel decision filed herein;
This Court finds that Respondent, Patrick Michael Davis, violated Rules 4-1.5(a), 4-3.4(c), 4-3.4(d), 4-3.4(e), and 4-4.4(a), of the Rules of Professional Conduct and should be disciplined.
Upon consideration of these findings, previous decisions of this Court, ABA Standards for Imposing Lawyer Discipline, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, this Court suspends Respondent’s license indefinitely. The suspension is stayed and Respondent is placed on probation for 18 months from the date of this order in accordance with Rule 5.225. The conditions of probation are those included in the decision of the disciplinary hearing panel filed herein and the three additional conditions of probation set forth in Informant’s letter of acceptance dated August 15, 2019. Should probation be revoked and the suspension take effect, no petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of one year from the date the suspension becomes effective.
Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(h) in the amount of $1,500.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
