ST. LOUIS – Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 10.28(d), the 21st Circuit Judicial Commission releases the following information relating to applicants for the two circuit judge vacancies created by the impending retirements of Judge Michael T. Jamison and Judge Gloria Clark Reno: 26 applicants, 11 women, 15 men, six minorities, 20 non-minorities, 14 presently employed in the private sector and 12 presently employed in the public sector. The applicants' mean age is 51.15.

The commission will meet beginning at 8:30 a.m. December 5, 2019, at the St. Louis County Court Building, Courtroom 389, located at 105 South Central, Clayton, Missouri, to conduct public interviews for both vacancies. The public is invited to attend and observe the interviews. Immediately upon the conclusion of the public interviews, the commission expects to meet and select the nominees for the vacancy created by the impending retirement of Judge Jamison to be submitted to the governor. Following the governor’s appointment of the nominee selected to fill the Jamison vacancy, the commission will reconvene to select the nominees for the vacancy created by the impending retirement of Judge Reno.
