Supreme Court of Missouri Case No. SC99318
In re: Stephen Ray Wiggington, MBE # 38254
ORDER
Having sufficiently considered the information and motion for final order of discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21(e) and the response to the show cause order, the Court finds that Respondent, Stephen R. Wigginton, is guilty of professional misconduct and should be disciplined.
Respondent’s two misdemeanor convictions in the Circuit Court of Madison County, Illinois, for driving under the influence of alcohol in case nos. 17DT348 and 19DT886 interfere with the administration of justice by undermining public confidence in the legal system and profession.
Upon consideration of these findings, previous decisions of this Court, ABA Standards for Imposing Lawyer Discipline, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the Court suspends Respondent’s license indefinitely. No petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of six months from the date of this order.
It is further ordered that Respondent comply in all respects with Rule 5.27-Procedure Following a Disbarment or Suspension Order.
Costs taxed to Respondent.
