Supreme Court of Missouri Case No. SC99302
In re: Patricia McCloskey, MBE # 36153
Update: By order dated July 11, 2023, the Court terminated probation for this attorney.

ORDER

Having sufficiently considered the information and motion for final order of discipline and the response to the show cause order, the Court finds that Respondent, Patricia McCloskey, is subject to discipline pursuant to Rule 5.21 in that, on June 17, 2021, Respondent pleaded guilty to the class A misdemeanor of harassment in the second degree in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis in case no. 2022-CR01300-01 and thereby committed a misdemeanor offense involving moral turpitude.

Upon consideration of these findings, previous decisions of this Court, the ABA Standards for Imposing Lawyer Sanctions, and aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the Court suspends Respondent’s license indefinitely. The suspension is stayed, and Respondent is placed on probation for a period of one year from the date of this order in accordance with Rule 5.225. The conditions of probation are those set forth in the term and conditions attached to this order. Should probation be revoked and the suspension take effect, no petition for reinstatement shall be entertained for a period of six months from the date the suspension becomes effective.

Costs taxed to Respondent.
