Manage My Case Help

I want to register for Manage My Case

  1. Go to Case.net
  2. Click on the Manage My Case icon
  3. Click "Create a Manage My Case" account
  4. Click in username field to create you user name - *required field
  5. Click in password field to create a password - *required field
  6. Click verify password field to re-enter your password - *required field password must match
  7. Click the email field to type your email address - *required field
  8. Click "Verify email" field to re-enter your email address - *required field email must match
  9. Click "Next"
  10. Click the "First Name" field - provide your first name - *required field
  11. Middle Name - not required
  12. Last Name - Provide your last name - *required field
  13. Date of Birth - *required field- must be at least 15 years old

    NOTE: Demographic information Gender, Race, Ethnicity is not required, but is used to obtain statistical data for application improvements. This data will in no way impact the outcome of your court decision and your answers will remain anonymous.

  14. Gender - not required 
  15. Race - not required
  16. Ethnicity - not required
  17. Click "Next"
  18. Country defaults to United States
    1. To change, select the drop down menu and choose your country
  19. Attention - put desired information in field
  20. Address Line 1 - *required field
  21. Address Line 2 - example P.O. Box
  22. City - *required field
  23. State - *required field that defaults to Missouri
  24. Zip - *required field
  25. Cell phone - if you want to provide a cell phone number
  26. Click "Sign Up"
  27. Registration confirmation page - Review the information
  28. Click "Continue to Login" - you will receive a confirmation email
  29. Enter your username
  30. Enter your password
  31. Click "Login"
  32. Read the Terms and Conditions - Disclaimer - Warranty
  33. Click "Agree" - you now have an Manage My Case account

I want to add a case to my account

  1. Go to "Add a Case to My Account"
  2. Enter your Case Number and click "Find"
  3. Enter the time listed in the "At Time" box on your ticket
  4. Click "Verify Ticket"
  5. Select the appropriate statement: "I am representing myself" or "I have an attorney to represent me." NOTE: If you have an attorney, you will not be able to use MMC for the ticket.
  6. Select all your rights (example – Right to trial, Right to know when the court is open, etc.) and select "I understand my rights"
  7. Click "Add to My Account"

I want to plead guilty

  1. Go to "Add a Case to My Account"
  2. Enter your Case Number and click "Find"
  3. Enter the time listed in the "At Time" box on your ticket
  4. Click "Verify Ticket"
  5. Select the appropriate statement: "I am representing myself" or "I have an attorney to represent me." NOTE: If you have an attorney, you will not be able to use MMC for the ticket.
  6. Select all your rights (example – Right to trial, Right to know when the court is open, etc.) and select "I understand my rights"
  7. Click "Add to My Account"
  8. Click "File on My Court Case"
  9. Select your Ticket
  10. Select "Use Court Template"
  11. Select the appropriate Court Form to plead guilty
  12. Click "Next"
  13. Type your name in signature field
  14. Click "Review"
  15. Click "Confirm"

I want to request community service

  1. Go to "Add a Case to My Account"
  2. Enter your Case Number and click "Find"
  3. Enter the time listed in the "At Time" box on your ticket
  4. Click "Verify Ticket"
  5. Select the appropriate statement: "I am representing myself" or "I have an attorney to represent me." NOTE: If you have an attorney, you will not be able to use MMC for the ticket.
  6. Select all your rights (example – Right to trial, Right to know when the court is open, etc.) and select "I understand my rights"
  7. Click "Add to My Account"
  8. Click "File on My Court Case"
  9. Select your ticket
  10. Select "Use Court Template"
  11. Select the appropriate Court Form for Community Service
  12. Complete the following:
    1. Check the "I will complete" box
    2. Enter the proposed number of hours of community service you are requesting
    3. Enter the proposed completion date
    4. Check each box after reading statements
    5. Enter any special conditions you are requesting and check the box and type your special conditions in the text box
  13. Type your name in the signature field
  14. Click "Review"
  15. Review information and the document to make sure no corrections are needed
  16. Click "Confirm"

You will receive an email from MMC letting you know the court received your request. You will receive another email when the court approves the request

I want to send a message to the PA

  1. Go to "Add a Case to My Account"
  2. Enter your Case Number and click "Find"
  3. Enter the time listed in the "At Time" box on your ticket
  4. Click "Verify Ticket"
  5. Select the appropriate statement: "I am representing myself" or "I have an attorney to represent me." NOTE: If you have an attorney, you will not be able to use MMC for the ticket.
  6. Select all your rights (example – Right to trial, Right to know when the court is open, etc.) and select "I understand my rights"
  7. Click "Add to My Account"
  8. Click the "My Message" link
  9. Click "Compose" to send a message to the prosecutor
  10. Enter your message to the prosecutor in the comments field
  11. Click "Review Message"
  12. Review the message and click "Send" to send it to the prosecutor

You will receive an email from MMC when the prosecutor responds to the message. Follow the instructions provided by the prosecutor for the next steps.

I want a payment plan

  1. Go to "Add a Case to My Account"
  2. Enter your Case Number and click "Find"
  3. Enter the time listed in the "At Time" box on your ticket
  4. Click "Verify Ticket"
  5. Select the appropriate statement: "I am representing myself" or "I have an attorney to represent me." NOTE: If you have an attorney, you will not be able to use MMC for the ticket.
  6. Select all your rights (example – Right to trial, Right to know when the court is open, etc.) and select "I understand my rights"
  7. Click "Add to My Account"
  8. Click "File on My Court Case"
  9. Select your Ticket
  10. Click "Use a Court Template"
  11. Select the appropriate Court Form to request a payment plan
  12. Click "Next"
  13. Select the frequency you are requesting to make payments - weekly, twice monthly or monthly
  14. Enter the amount you are requesting to pay each installment - for example, $5, $10, etc.
  15. Enter your date of birth
  16. Type your name in the signature field
  17. Click "Review"
  18. Click "Confirm"

You will receive an email from MMC when the court rules on your case. The court may request additional information from you. This will include the terms of the payment plan if it is approved.
